These cover both theoretical understanding and hands-on competence to support dentists, care for patients, and work effectively as part of a dental team.

Mode of study & structure
You will be working as a trainee dental nurse in a clinical setting while completing your portfolio of evidence (PoE) and assessments.

Assessments:

• Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) – demonstrating your skills, knowledge and behaviours in practice.
• Online Knowledge Test – a multiple-choice exam set by NEBDN.
• Professional Discussion – scenario-based assessment (former OSCE style) with an NEBDN examiner.

• All mock exams and assessments
• Online monthly live teaching and pre-recorded sessions
• Personal tutor available between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm 7 days a week
• Final examination fee

The course fee does not include:

• Any writing or reference materials such as books, pens, pencils etc.
• Any necessary travel costs
• Exam resits where unsuccessful (refer to our re-sit policy)
